Then and Now is a body of work exploring the connections I have formed with objects of my past that act as symbols of remembrance today. The left panel considers the past, prominently showing an object of importance that creates a memory. The right panels explore the present, my distance from the initial conception of these moments and the desire to remember As I excavate these memories from my mind, the images become a tribute to the objects in an attempt to create permanence in the midst of impermanence.
