paraphrase
How do we honor and remember the past as we grow and change? Fascinated by how our memories shift as we transition in life, I create images that memorialize moments, lost loved ones, and objects. Utilizing photography’s innate ability to capture time, I photograph collages made up of snapshots from my past and present, as well as drawings, objects, and shadows. What results are like reliquaries: images of object filled spaces that are printed using ephemeral methods, to reference the nostalgic and hazy act of remembering.
